The maintenance of penstock gate is essential to ensure the normal operation and extend the service life of water conservancy facilities, including regular inspection, cleaning and lubrication, electrical system inspection, fastener inspection and replacement, maintenance records and other aspects. Only by doing these work comprehensively and meticulously can the safe operation and extended service life of the gate be ensured.
Appearance inspection: Regularly check whether the surface of the gate has damage such as rust, cracks or deformation, check whether the gate connection is firm, and whether the fasteners are loose.
Functional test: Test the opening and closing function of the gate to ensure that the gate can be opened and closed flexibly and smoothly, check the sealing performance of the gate, and ensure that the gate can be completely sealed in the closed state to prevent water leakage.
Cleaning: Regularly remove dirt, debris and moss on the surface of the gate to keep the gate clean. For rust on the gate, you can use a special rust remover to remove it and apply anti-rust paint for protection.
Lubrication: The sliding parts on the gate, such as rollers, bearings, etc., should be regularly coated with lubricating oil or grease to reduce friction and wear.
Safety device inspection: Check the electrical safety devices of the penstock gate, such as the alarm system, overload protection, etc., to ensure that it can respond quickly in an emergency.
Line inspection: Carefully check whether the electrical circuit is loose, damaged or leaking.
Fasteners inspection: Regularly check whether the screws, nuts and other fasteners on the gate are loose. If they are loose, they should be tightened or replaced in time.
Replace damaged parts: If some parts are worn or damaged, such as rollers, bearings, etc., they should be replaced in time.
After each maintenance of the penstock gate, the maintenance time, maintenance content, replaced parts and other information should be recorded in detail to provide reference for subsequent maintenance.
